Establishment of the Fund
In the centenary year of Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya, the Past Pupils’ Association proudly launched the Mother Annunciation Scholarship Fund with the objective of supporting deserving students in need of financial assistance.
Annual Commitment by the PPA
Each year, the Past Pupils’ Association allocates a substantial contribution towards sustaining and growing this fund, reaffirming its commitment to the welfare and education of current students.
Affinity Card Contributions
During the year 2012/2013, the PPA Committee resolved to channel the income received from the HNB Affinity Cards to the Mother Annunciation Scholarship Fund.
This decision was implemented in 2013/2014, and the Committees of 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 continued this initiative, ensuring that proceeds from the Affinity Card programme were directed towards this meaningful cause.
Acknowledgement of Donations
The PPA gratefully acknowledges the generous donation of Rs. 80,000/- received from the Past Pupils’ Batch of 1991 in support of the scholarship fund. Their contribution reflects the true spirit of giving and solidarity among Familian past pupils.
Call for Continued Support
The Past Pupils’ Association warmly invites and encourages further generous contributions from past pupils whether individually or collectively as batches to strengthen this fund and continue supporting deserving students in their educational journey.
